Please make this happen, I have been asking for years. This is common practice in just about every business you want to pay with a credit card as well as on many e-commerce sites.

The Proposal only has a place for a discount, it would be nice to add fees in this section too.

Please add the ability to add a handling fee to orders. There are times when an extra fee is needed to account for random costs that are not included in the costs of the garment. ie. The apparel coordinator wants all of the orders from a webstore shipped in 1 box to them. In this case, the ability to split the cost of shipping this box among all of the people who placed an order would be great.

The best implementation of this would allow us to configure shipping and handling separately (ie, % markup on shipping, fixed handling cost), but to choose between showing those separately to the customer vs together (as a "Shipping & Handling" fee). If that's impossible, I think we'd agree that Shipping+Handling together is something customers are used to seeing on the invoice side, but we REALLY need to be able to configure the handling that feeds into that independently of the shipping.

I agree it would be nice to add a handling fee to a store. For example I go onto the marching band web store to buy for my kid. I purchase 7 items and place in my cart. When I go to check out I see a handling fee of $7.95. This handling fee covers all the individual pack outs and master cartons that hold multiple orders. Handling fees for this sort of thing might be easier for a customer checking out to swallow than to see a higher price for a tshirt. They do not understand why the shirt costs more if it is on a custom webstore.

Yes! Handling costs vary a lot - some stores are easy, others require special packaging, etc. We need to be able to change the handling fee by store at the least (even more ideal would be an option to override that for a specific product - it costs more in materials and labor to ship a cap or mug vs a t-shirt for example).

This is needed as not everything can be wrapped up into a shipping fee when there isn't technically shipping. We need this badly, can't keep adding costs into the unit price.

having the ability to have a separate handling fee will be great for school's spirit wear since we bag and sort each order and sometimes separate that by grades. Would be a great addition.
