Ability to see when a customer has read a proposal

In my old payment system "Wave", I would always get a notification every time the customer opened up the invoice/quote. It would be very helpful for me to understand what is going through the customer's brain and to know if there was some sort of problem (such as an incorrect email).

Would be nice to see if a proposal has been looked at (viewed status) by the customer. Just need to pass a small variable in the link that let you know it has been seen maybe in comments?. I use proposals to send proofs (another topic) and I would like to know that they have looked and know they have gotten the email and it's not lost to oblivion.

This is similar to my idea "ADD Date Sent & Follow up button on each Proposal Card". Similar to a read receipt on a text message it would allow you to know if the customer has opened and seen the proposal. This further improves on my topic that it would better help us to send a follow up to either remind the customer if they overlooked it or if they just need to approve and pay.
