Allow in-person payments through a POS system
Adam Maneen
Our foot traffic in our store is increasing and our customers want to come into the shop and place their order. Currently the only solution I can think of is to write an invoice and email the customer their invoice while they are standing there, then they have to manually submit their CC information. This is awkward and cumbersome. My recommendation is to have Inksoft ingrate with a payment processor so at checkout a customer can swipe their card. I could set up a kiosk in store and even have the customer order their shirt like they order a Big Mac nowadays. Of course, the in-person swipe a CC checkout feature should only be enabled on certain machines. Even if Inksoft forced their customers to be able to only buy the kiosk machines through Inksoft that would be fine and Inksoft can get an extra cut but sourcing the machines. From your clients point of view, my future Kiosks allow for increased brand awareness. I would be more than happy to assist or be the real-world test application for this. Thank you. Adam Maneen

I'm actively trying to figure out a solution to this as well. Hopefully Inksoft pulls the trigger. Dumping Inksoft for this reason is on the table.

This would be nice to have for sure. And if we could use our current Clover device(s) for this that would be an awesome plus!!

Please please please can we make this one happen? Shopify and pretty much every other online selling platform has an integrated POS system. A lot of us have brick in mortar stores or do in person sales/fundraising events. This is a necessity.

Connect Inksoft Sites to Retail POS
Spiffy
Point of Sale that keeps in sync with preprinted inventory on our Inksoft store. For example, someone buys a preprinted item in store but you also have it available on our website so we have to manually update our website products inventory when someone buys the product in store. Really shocked their isn't a Point of Sale that connects to Inksoft at all. Stripe wanna chime in??? Am I missing something? Anyone with a good workaround??

We would love to have an option to swipe cards when we do live printing events. A lot of times we run a store before the event and then have to use Square to process any sales during the event which makes reporting a hassle with 2 systems.

I second this! Thank you. As it takes far to long to enter all of the details required to take in-person transactions!

I think this is a fantastic idea as long as the new kiosk does not charge extra fees on top of the credit card fees like Stripe does. There are plenty of credit card service who provide the equipment than runs parallel with their software and you don't incur extra credit card fees.
