Customer Phone Numbers

There is nowhere for a customer to enter their contact phone number when they create a log in or order. So we end up with orders with the only means of communication as an email address. We would appreciate a phone number field for customers to populate when they create their log in or place an order so that the phone # is visible on the order.

For now, we use the Custom Order Fields and click "require" so that have to include a phone number. It would be great for it to populate automatically, but for now, this is our workaround. I'll attach all the fields we include to accommodate the needs of our stores. It makes the packing slips a little "busy", but it has saved us thousands of headaches overall. Hope this helps a little!

There is absolutely a way to collect a phone number. When you’re setting up a store it asks if there is any other information you need to collect. This is where you collect a phone number from. We do this on all of our stores.
