Currently only 1 swatch circle is assigned per color. If a customer (or admin) tries to change another part of the design to a color that is already in use, they cannot change it back without changing the other part to that color also. This comes into play a lot with black and if the design has shadows or an outline that needs to stay black. If the customer tries to make another part of the design black, and then changes their mind and makes it another color, it now changes everything from black to that color, even the shadows and outline. If there could be more than 1 swatch circle per color it would avoid that problem. Or if there were a way to lock certain colors from being edited (without the workaround of having to separate those colors into a 'full color' PNG file because that can be labor intensive.)
