Inksoft people, go through the catalogs!
Cory
Why are product catalogs so incomplete? Inksoft blames the suppliers, but the suppliers are pretty quick to make the updates.
Instead of making each user add products, run into the issues, and report them (or not!) why doesn't Inksoft go through them and ask the suppliers to fix what is missing? Why do users have to take on this burden?
- Get someone from Inksoft to open the S&S catalog.
- Get someone from Inksoft to add each product to a store.
- Let S&S know what products are missing and prompt them to update.
- Bonus: let them know what product images are missing. They have tons on their site that aren't added to products. Same with decoration methods, colours, and lots of other crap.

29 up votes and crickets. Nothing from inksoft on this. Multi million dollar company isn’t willing to dedicate employees to fix product errors. Come on inksoft do better.

As I'm building stores, I'm actively having to go to the Supplier Website and verify the Product Information displayed in InkSoft. On many occasions, there are Discontinued Colors and/or New Colors, Missing or Incorrectly Sized images, etc.
I don't disagree this is a time-consuming job, but given the fact the InkSoft Stores are all built ON THE PRODUCT ACCURACY FROM THE SUPPLIERS, I would think would be a top priority. Alas... here we all are.

My thought is can't InkSoft grab the images we all have made? It would probably take a dedicated employee to update the images. I get the feeling they could use another 6 employees on a daily basis.

I agree , why should all of us have to do this when it could be done once for everyone.
Cory
Valley Threadz Ah, well it just so happens I have the answer! It seems they simply do not want to do additional work!
I can quote the Technical Support Manager here: "This ends up being a very time consuming process in the background for Olivia and the Products team"
Can't have anyone dealing with time consuming processes eh? Unless they are a customer I guess...

Cory This is the exact reason we are looking at switching to Order My Gear stores. I waste so much time correting SKU's that should be corrected by them. We pay a good price for this and they should correct it on the backend so they don't put that burden on their thousands of customers.
Cory
Brent Trickel I too am looking at alternatives and they all seem to have better product integration. Don't even get me started on the low-res mockups and can't upload anything custom bigger than 500px either.

Cory I am a former Order My Gear customer, and setting up stores are much faster than inksoft.
