Limiting quantity

Man, people have been requesting this since 2020 it seems...How is this not a thing yet? I too have clients that would like to limit items via a maximum quantity allowed per order setting.

Totally agree. We have many employers or schools who want to limit their staff to ordering only a certain number of items (3 items, for example). We can limit the dollar amount using coupon codes but there's currently no way to have a maximum number of items in an order. I'd use this feature a lot.

I would like to see an option where there is a maximum amount of how many items can be ordered. A good example is that I have customers that want a webstore where each employee gets to order 1 item and the employee pays for that item. Only 1, not 2. :) Thanks!

honestly, I do not understand why this isn't an option but "minimum" is

Is this in reference to how many of a given SKU you will allow to sell per-order, or something else?

Ty Hadley: that is what my vote is for. We have had customers request that their employees be limited to 1 item of X per order, or something similar.

Kelly Leaman: thank you! I see you already did vote on a post asking for that (https://ideas.inksoft.com/posts/p/set-max-quantity-per-item-per-order). I still need to see what Gustavo Goose Peters wants, that will help me determine what to do with this post, because there are multiple other things this could be in reference to.

Ty Hadley: Hey Ty, Pretty much the same thing I have a client who is allowing their staff to pick one item but you can't limit them and a lot of their staff then went and ordered 2,3,4 etc... and then we have to audit the entire order time with a report then go in and manually fix all of the people trying to take advantage of their employer.
