Order maximum limit on store

It would be great to set an order maximum (I see that there is an order minimum) on the store checkout. Example- A client is using the store to collect holiday orders and is only paying for one piece. Was thinking if we could set a one item limit max at checkout that would elimate some work on the back end. Thank you!!

We have some customers like that too if I'm understanding you correctly. The ones we have give their employees a certain dollar amount to spend. We do this by issuing gift certificates to the employees. Then if they want to order anything past what their employer is paying for, they can still order it but they have to pay for it themselves.
