Replace art on products after items have been ordered, for stores that are reopened every season.
Craig Mertens
Rachel, you can replace the artwork in bulk in any store using the bulk art replacement function under products in your store admin. You can do this on individual products, or by selecting a group of products. This works with imprint graphics and DST embroidery files. In the Store Admin area, select Store Products, then select the products you want to edit, choose the Edit Product Details button and then select Replace Art in Bulk. You have had this capability for over a year, I would highly recommend subscribing to the InkSoft YouTube channel, as we release new features, we cover them in videos. Here is a link to a YouTube playlist that I think you will find useful: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsSoO3lRau7cDVZRNL7gy9hTpYGmJQbpK

Craig Mertens thank you for reaching out. I do know that this is an option. However, if I go back into a store that was open in the fall, and try to replace artwork for winter designs, it will not replace the artwork on items that have had orders placed for them. So I have to go in and create an all new product for everything. Another example would be if I was doing a shirt with a roster on the back, and halfway through the campaign, after orders have been placed, someone sees a spelling error. I cannot replace that artwork. I need to inactivate that product and create an entirely new one with the correct spelling. I've attached a screenshot of the message I get when trying to replace.
We do use the same stores over and over for our booster clubs and a lot of organizations, and SOME of the items are reused with the same artwork for several seasons. If I'm misunderstanding or doing something wrong, please let me know!
Lastly, I did reach out to support prior to suggesting this change, and they said that there isn't a way to do this currently, but that they saw how it could be beneficial and to come here and make the suggestion.

Rachel Woods The best way to repeat a store is to clone it, you have the option to copy all of the products and graphics from the previous store, it also creates a separate reporting structure for fundraising, and a fresh store performance dashboard. It only takes a minute, and you can update the url with a suffix "EasteaglesFall24" You have complete freedom to swap graphics in bulk because there is no conflict with products that have already been ordered. If you were to swap graphics on a product that was already placed, it would now be a different product but would have the same SKU in the system. This impacts reporting and the production manager and raises the possibility of a misprinted order, two orders with the same SKU and separate graphics. This is why swapping graphics is disabled after an order is placed. As of last week, you now have the ability to easily swap products within an order with the new feature, Add Line Items to order: https://youtu.be/AAeIK-Oe_eM You can now also add products to the same design in orders placed in the Designer, for instance if there was an out of stock, and you need to switch suppliers. I hope this helps.

Dealing with this same issue right now for updating a year on the same logo for school programs.

We have schools and booster clubs who we create stores for every season, so up to 4 times a year. We have to inactivate all the products, and start from fresh each time, and it's SUCH a waste of time! This would be amazing if changed!!!

Even to make a change on a new store after an item has been ordered (sometimes clients send misspelling on names or need to add something to the design). Just the ability to change artwork once the item has been ordered would be greatly appreciated.

I agree this would be helpful. Right now if I need to change a product that's already been sold, I just clone it, make the old one inactive and then make the changes to the clone.
