Store Name on Credit Card Statement

There needs to be a way to get the Store Name on the credit card statement. Customers often don't recognize a charge because they don't associate it with our Company name. They are looking for a charge that has the Store Name (i.e. the name of the school or club that the store is for).
It would be helpful if the charge could say: COMPANY NAME: STORE NAME. Stripe allows for a Dynamic Statement Descriptor but InkSoft needs to implement this on their end.

It might be a good idea to have Inksoft pay for all wrongful dispute fees until this gets changed.

This is VERY needed. We deal with so many payment disputes. The cost of dispute fees adds up.

We really need this. We have so many people disputing charges.

Inksoft is making us use Stripe, so they should take advantage of Stripe's full product offering. They have a dynamic statement descriptor API which would solve this problem!

Not a solution - our small attempt to help alleviate the disputes since InkSoft is not able to resolve the issue on its end. We have a header on all the webstores that lists "credit card charges will appear from (our company) on your statement". That has helped more than we thought it would.

Linda Mosher: We added similar wording to our receipt template!

Agreed, I've had to include a notice on a number of my stores for people disputing their payments because it does not match up with the store they're buying from.

We have so many people dispute their payments because they don't recognize the name.

Note: I realize this has been suggested before and Ty has CLOSED the idea with the following reply: We have researched this, and we found that there are limitations in this use, and if we were to try to implement this the way it is suggested, it would trigger fraud alerts.
Stripe has told me the opposite - it would avoid confusion and disputed charges.

Linda Bruno: My guess is they will never offer this. It's a way to potentially game their subscription model if two printers joined together for one subscription just for stores.

This was the post and I so hope they reconsider :)
