Zero Price

We should be able to set an item price to $0 for customers that use online stores to collect orders from their staff or group members, but aren't paying individually! Our customers are tired of having to explain to their employees to ignore the pricing shown since it doesn't apply to them. Why is that still not possible? It seems like that should be a pretty simple fix!

This post was previously merged with another similar request, for a different use case.
The update we just released through our SalesDoc environment will allow you to set a products price at $0.00 allowing your shoppers to proceed through checkout on Stores and Proposals.
We have separated this post from the second request which is to hide pricing throughout the store but display it in the backend of the platform for production and payment collection purposes.
The use case here allows shops to collect orders from the employees, students, or players without having the individual shopper purchase the items or see the actual price. The company, school or coach will then purchase all of the orders via a single invoice at a later date.
If you need any additional information please contact support at Support@inksoft.com.

This would also come in handy for us, as we run inventory for internal PO, Wholesale Custom and retail pre-print item customer. where inventory and PO need to be tracked but payment isn't going through inksoft because it's a direct writ off via accounting. but this messes up the report at the end of the month , because it counts the " retail" price of an item.

We process many orders for schools where the customer pays nothing(no payment at checkout) and the school pays via PO/special grants. We need to make the pricing zero on all items in the store. I have been requesting this feature for years and have to put $.01 as the price but it's a workaround not a solution. When will this be taken seriously; seems there are many users with the same issue? Please help.
SOP Shipping
Agreed! I just about broke inksoft trying to rig it in a way that will do that. I can get it to a penny, but zero and it will just get stuck in a loop when you go to add it to a cart. Especially for stores where I have customer payments turned off. I'm not using inksoft as a book-keeping platform.

This is the only area I think Inksoft falls short. We have tried several work arounds but nothing is a match to create a Zero Cost item. Any new advice or work around would be great.

My customer does not want their employees to see a retail price on items listed in their gift store. A simple on/off toggle would solve this issue. With over 100 requests why is it more that a year with no activity on this suggestion?

Agreed, some of my customers are using these as an anniversary present but don't want staff knowing prices of the products when choosing their orders online.
